It’s submitting a planning application to create around 40 new rental units across the city... including a proposed four or five story apartment complex at the site of a former school on Lourdes street.
“ It’s always the unknown that's difficult for people. so some people are concerned that it’s going to add more traffic to their neighbourhood, some people are concerned that there's too many people with mental health issues living in that area. And, then there's also people who think that it’s going to enhance their neighbourhood, “ said Marion Quigley of the Canadian Mental Health Association for Sudbury and Manitoulin
Officials say the next step is zoning.
