Police officials have cracked down on cocaine trafficking along the Highway 11 corridor.
On Thursday, the North Bay Police Service announced the results of a joint forces operation with the Toronto Police Service.
The two police services made four arrests, seized 981 grams of cocaine and $51,000 in cash through an investigation called ‘Project Fastball’.
Police used five controlled drugs and substances warrants on residences in North Bay and Toronto to seize the following:
• four ounces of crystal methamphetamine
• one ounce of fentanyl powder
• 981 grams of cocaine
• 1.5 pounds of marijuana
• $51,000 in Canadian currency.
• one 9mm handgun
• two vehicles
• approximately $5,000 dollars’ worth of stolen property
