Between John Krikken and Melissa Sasseville, the pair has now won the lottery five times.
Krikken and Sasseville, both from Monteith, picked up their winnings in Toronto this week. They cashed in on $100,020 through ENCORE.
“This is my third win and John’s second,” said Sasseville.
“Winning the lottery is outstanding. We see it as incredible good fortune and definitely nothing to be taken granted for.”
When they found out about their big win back on August 18, the two celebrated with a family barbecue, and a ‘few celebratory drinks’.
Krikken said a riding lawn mower and a new roof for the house is in the plans, while Sasseville wants new tires for her truck.
“Plus we have a wonderful piece of land by the lake we will one day build our forever home on. This win gets us a step closer,” the pair concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at VG Last Stop on Principal Rue in Val Gagne.
