One lucky person in Sudbury is a million dollars richer and they might not even know it.
Last weekend's winning Lotto 649 ticket has yet to be claimed and it comes from a guaranteed $1 million prize draw.
The prospect of a major cash influx has some people in Sudbury CTV spoke with rushing to check their tickets, while others can only dream about what they'd do with all that money.
“I totally have a lottery ticket I haven't checked for two weeks. Hopefully it's me.”
“I would be super excited, a hundred bucks is a million bucks to me.”
“I'd buy all kinds of funny looking things and spend it on a good holiday.”
“I would probably pay off my daughters and my sons expenses or houses, if I could, and I would probably go on a really nice vacation to Europe.”
The ticket is the second purchased in Sudbury this month that garnered big prize money.
A $100,000 winner from the community was declared earlier in this month.
