A young North Bay mother is facing serious charges.
Last month North Bay police received information that a baby had been moved to a children's hospital outside the city to receive treatment for life threatening injuries.
Police have charged the 18-year-old mother for failing to provide the necessaries of life to a child, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and aggravated assault.
They say the 2-month-old baby has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at a safe location.
