SUDBURY -- Public Health Sudbury and Districts reported a new positive case of COVID-19 on Aug. 8 saying the source of exposure is unknown.

This marks the 92nd case of COVID-19 reported by public health officials in the area.  With no recent travel or contact with a known case, the source of the exposure is unknown.

The woman was tested on Aug.7 and is self-isolating.

“Through contact tracing, Public Health will notify all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered a close contact,” the health unit said in a news release.

“Limiting our contacts and in-person interactions as much as possible is critical in reducing transmission of COVID-19.”
