Stabbing sends victim to hospital in Surrey, B.C.

Police are investigating a stabbing Thursday morning in the Guildford area of Surrey, B.C.

A male victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the stabbing near 104 Avenue and 147 Street, according to the Surrey Police Service.

The stabbing is believed to have occurred around 7 a.m. but was not reported to police until approximately 7:50 a.m., police said in an emailed statement.

“We are continuing to attempt to get information from the male and to determine an exact scene location,” police said.

No arrests have been made in the incident but the police investigation is ongoing.
