An update on a deer that's been seen wandering around the West Ferris area of North Bay with a wire fencing strapped around its torso is now okay.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says it managed to finally tranquilize the animal and remove the wire this week.
They also dressed a wound and released and tagged the deer.
It first appeared in the Balmoral Crescent area of West Ferris three months ago.
