It was a deadly weekend on Northern Ontario highways with two people killed in separate crashes.
One person died in a fiery crash on Highway 17 between North Bay and Sturgeon Falls Sunday.
A vehicle collided with a transport carrying gasoline and both vehicles went up in flames.
The transport driver made it out, but a body was found inside the burned passenger vehicle.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Ontario Provincial Police in the Hearst area have released the name of the victim in another collision Sunday morning, this one on Highway 11 between Hearst and Kapuskasing.
Police say a tractor trailer hit a passenger car near the village of Mattice.
The driver of the smaller vehicle, 19-year-old Shawn Grondin of Schumacher, was killed.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
