Bonita Reichstein of Trout Creek, south of North Bay, has played the lottery for about 30 years and finally hit a big prize.
The 70 year old retiree bought her Lotto 6/49 ticket at a Shell station on Fisher Street in North Bay and won the guaranteed $1-million prize draw.
“I couldn’t believe what my eyes were seeing, so I asked my daughter to double check my numbers. The next thing I knew the entire family was doing the happy dance in the living room.” said Reichstein.
Bonita plans on using her winnings to enjoy life and help her family.
“I plan on buying myself a new Buick and a new car for my daughter as well. I also intend on helping my grandson out with his hockey tuition in the future.” said Reichstein.
