Sudbury’s Pure Country has teamed up with the Salvation Army for a Christmas toy drive this weekend.

Officials with the event say they are looking to collect 500 toys to put under the tree for local children this holiday season.

The toy drive is being held on Saturday.

New unwrapped toys for kids or gift cards for teens can be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Giant Tiger on Lasalle Boulevard. A kettle has also been setup for monetary donations.
