A frightening moment for people on board a plane flying from Toronto happened Thursday night when it hit severe turbulence, leaving two people injured.
Air Canada confirmed two of its flight attendants were hurt on the passenger flight bound for Costa Rica.
The plane turned back over Tennessee and returned to land safely, with the two injured people taken to hospital with minor injuries.
