In case you missed it, here are the top five stories that made headlines in northeastern Ontario this week.

Our top article of the week comes as children across the north returned to school for in-class learning - a move the teachers union says may be premature.

The second most viewed article this week brings us to Highway 11 where a number of closures took place throughout the week; one as a result of a fatal crash.

For our third story, we go to a store in Greater Sudbury where a local man finds luck for a second time in a case of lottery dejavu.

Next, we stay in Sudbury where a golf course will soon open a winter attraction.

Lastly, a Sudbury gym owner was hit with fines for refusing to close the doors to his business.
