TIMMINS -- Timmins police investigators are trying to track down a man they say was involved in a robbery at a pharmacy on Algonquin Boulevard on March 4.

They're hoping photos of the suspect will result in someone identifying the man.

Police officials say a theft happened during the evening hours when a male suspect allegedly "made off with five gift set boxes of perfume with a retail value of $560.00."

"When confronted by loss prevention and other store staff members, the male then proceeded to engage in assaultive behaviour in order to complete his escape," said Marc Depatie

Police provide this description of the suspect:

-man with open sores on his face, with short hair (buzz cut style)

-between 5'8" and 5'10" tall

-was wearing a grey fleece lined sweater, a black jacket with a heart design on the side, blue jeans and black shoes at the time of the robbery

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is asked to contact the Timmins Police Service at (705) 264-1201; or in order to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com.
