Timmins police looking for purse thief suspect

Timmins police are asking the public to help identify a suspect accused of stealing an elderly woman's purse in a grocery store.
The theft happened on Nov. 9 when a female suspect took the victim's purse from her cart, Timmins Police Service said in a news release Monday.
It was caught on the store's video surveillance cameras and showed the suspect fleeing without being noticed.
"The purse in question is described as being black in color and contained all of the victim's personal documents and keys," police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
The allegation has not been proven in court.
