TIMMINS -- Timmins Police Service is seeking the public's help into the theft of a boat, trailer and equipment — totalling around $10,000.

Police say the theft happened in the early morning of Aug. 27 at a residence on First Avenue.

Security footage showed a mid-sized four-door car driving by the residence and parking in a nearby alley, police said in a news release.

A male wearing a dark hoodie then pulled the trailer into the alley.

"The male suspect then opened the trunk of his car for a few minutes before hooking the trailer up to the hitch on his car and driving away southbound in the alley," said police.

The stolen items include:

  • Black E-Z Hauler Trailer
  • Green and white Legend V-140 Viper 14 foot aluminum single hull boat
  • Black Evinrude E-Tec 25 HP outboard Motor Model # E25DGTEAFC
  • Hummingbird Fish Finder
  • Minn Kota Electric Anchor

Police are looking for any information leading to the stolen boat, equipment and the suspect.
