The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with assaulting a minor in connection with a series of incidents between 2019 and mid 2022.

The Schumacher man was arrested Dec. 1 and charged with assault, two counts of criminal negligence, pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm.

The accused was still in police custody Friday awaiting a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins.
