Timmins family wins almost $150K in hospital’s 50/50 draw

A Timmins family won $147,730 in November's 50/50 draw in support of Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
The winner is Tony Bernabei.
“Tony and his wife Tracy, purchased this group ticket with her parents, Paul and Darlene Legault,” the foundation said in a news release.
"The family has been supporting the Timmins and District Hospital by playing the lottery since Day 1."
Both families have experienced the need for serious medical treatment at the Timmins and District Hospital (TADH).
The families said the care offered by the professionals at TADH is exceptional.
“They all feel our 50/50 lottery is a great way to help our district hospital purchase medical equipment and provide renovations,” the release said.
“And of course being this month’s winner is certainly the icing on the cake.”
The December 50/50 draw is live and the jackpot is already more than $165,000. Click here for more information.
