Time running out to collect $100K prize with Parry Sound lottery ticket
Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Parry Sound, Ont., last year is about to miss out on a $100,000 prize if they don't claim it within the next two weeks.
The winning Lotto 6/49 ticket is for the Oct. 25, 2023, draw, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. said in a news release Friday morning.
It was purchased in the Muskoka area between Sudbury and Toronto.
The six-figure Encore prize corresponds with the winning selection 7380223.
"Players must match the last six of the seven Encore numbers in exact order to win the $100,000 prize," OLG said.
Lottery winnings must be claimed within one year or else they will be forfeited.
"Our prize claim verification ensures that prize ownership and eligibility is confirmed before a prize is paid," OLG said.
"If you believe you bought the winning ticket, or perhaps lost it, please be prepared to provide specific details -- including where and when your ticket was purchased --when calling OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098."

Tickets can be checked through any lottery retailer, online, through the OLG app or by calling 1-866-891-8946.
The lottery recommends signing the ticket right after it is purchased, keeping it in a safe and memorable location and checking the ticket soon after the draw.
When tickets are purchased online, an email notification is sent to the purchaser when a prize is won.
