SUDBURY -- Sudbury police say they arrested a man who allegedly threatened another man with a knife on Tuesday afternoon.

In a twitter message, Sudbury police alerted the public to a heavy police presence in the area of Lasalle Boulevard and Barrydowne Road on Tuesday around 3:30 p.m.

According to police, a 20-year-old man allegedly threatened another man with a knife in the parking lot of a New Sudbury LCBO store.

Sudbury police say the suspect has been charged with:

  • Weapons Dangerous
  • Utter Threats

Police say a knife was located and the investigation is ongoing.
