SUDBURY – Chloe Arsenault was recently crowned 'Miss Teen Galaxy Canada' at a national pageant in Toronto.
She will now move on to represent Canada in Chicago next year.
In the meantime, Arsenault says she will be preparing by keeping up with her local community work and continuing to empower women to get into the trades.
"I love to do a lot of community work. I love to bring smiles to my hometown, but now I'll have the chance to represent our country internationally in Chicago. So, for me, having the honour to represent our country in a beautiful way is really amazing. I believe in pushing women into the trades. I welded my own crown. So, for me, being able to on a national platform and say women can do just as much as a man can do is really amazing," said Arsenault.
Arsenault will head to Chicago to represent Canada in July of 2020.
