SUDBURY -- Closing arguments are taking place Thursday afternoon in a trial at the Sudbury courthouse involving three sexual assault and two common assault charges against a former high-profile track and field coach.

57-year-old David Case pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

A court-imposed publication ban protects the identity of the alleged victim.

Three of the incidents are alleged to have happened when she was a under the age of 18 at a track event, on a bus, and at a Sudbury hotel. In another, it's alleged she was locked out of a residence naked.

Case took the stand Wednesday testifying in his own defence denying the allegations.

A decision in the case is expected March 13.
