Sudbury's holiday market returns

Downtown Sudbury was bustling on Saturday with people getting into the Christmas spirit at the 4th annual ‘Sudbury Holiday Market.’

A holiday Main Street was set up running from the YMCA to Larch Street with music and a train taking kids for rides.

Santa was on hand for photos, makers, crafters and bakers were also there offering unique holiday gift ideas.

There were also family activities including letters to Santa and ornament making.

The event was pretended by the Downtown Sudbury Business Improvement Area.

“To come downtown and see that there are so many amazing services and retailers and restaurants and to offer this holiday market,” said Kendra MacIsaac, the VP of Downtown Sudbury.

“Thousands of people are coming downtown to enjoy it and downtown Sudbury is something that everyone should come downtown explore and discover.”

Admission to the Holiday Market was free but donations were being accepted to support the Downtown Sudbury Clean Up Program – a partnership between the BIA and the YMCA Top Stories
