SUDBURY -- Several people in Greater Sudbury were affected by power outages on Sunday morning.

The first outage came just after 6 a.m. affecting approximately 1,500 customers in the Minnow Lake area near Bancroft and Second Avenue.

Greater Sudbury Utilities says the power went out because an underground fault blew a switch on a feeder line.

Power was fully restored by 8:30 a.m.

GSU says a separate outage came just before 10 a.m. affecting just under 60 customers also in the Minnow Lake area.
