SUDBURY -- Public Health Sudbury and Districts is reporting a new positive case of COVID-19 in Greater Sudbury.
Health officials say the individual contracted the virus through an unknown exposure. That is often a sign of community exposure, according to experts.
The individual was tested on Oct. 30 and is self-isolating.
There are currently 7 active cases of COVID-19 in the district and this marks the 126th case reported by Public Health Sudbury and Districts since the pandemic began.
Close contacts identified through contact tracing will be notified directly by Public Health.
