Sudbury police still trying to solve 2022 murder at downtown apartment
Sudbury police are finally releasing the identity of the 50-year-old man who was found shot to death inside his downtown apartment in 2022 as the investigation continues.
The body of Rohan Williams was found in his Elm Street apartment May 31, 2022, when his loved ones contacted police with concern they had not seen or heard from him in several days.

"Through the coroner’s office, a post-mortem was conducted and confirmed that he had died from gunshot wounds."
Williams went by several different names – including Frank, Dante, Nathan and Richmond --according to his acquaintances, police said.
"Although it has been nearly two years since Rohan Williams was murdered, the Greater Sudbury Police Service major crime section remains committed to solving his murder and bringing those responsible to justice," police said in an update on the case Tuesday.
"Investigators have interviewed several witnesses and continue to seek any information from the public related to the murder of Rohan Williams."

Police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn told CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca in an email GSPS doesn't usually release the name or photo of homicide victims, but due to the request for public assitance and the permission from the man's next of kin, detectives determined it would help them gather new information related to the investigation.
"Since the time Rohan’s body was discovered, detectives have been following up on information, interviewing witnesses and processing evidence obtained from the scene, however, they have yet to be able to identify the individual(s) responsible for his murder," Dunn said.
"We believe that there are individuals who may have information related to this homicide investigation that have yet to come forward."
Anyone with information is asked to call the dedicated tipline that has been set up for the investigation at 705-675-9171 extension 2320. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.
