Sudbury police are asking for the public's help with identifying two suspects involved in a sexual assault and assault at a Garson pub last week.

It happened at the Halloween party at Garson Pub -- formerly known as Ferrigan's Pub -- on Birch Street in the early morning hours of Oct. 26, Greater Sudbury Police Serviced said in a news release.

An unknown man sexually assaulted a woman on the dance floor around 1:55 p.m. Saturday by inappropriately grabbing her as she walked past him.

He is described by police as "being in his early 20s, around 5’8” tall, with shaggy brown hair and was wearing a green zip-up jacket and baseball hat.

When the woman confronted the man about the touching, "an unknown woman assaulted her causing her to fall backwards onto the stairs leading to the stage."

The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation.

The female assault suspect is described as being in her 20s, around five-foot-six with a medium build and round face. She was dressed as Wonder Woman and was wearing glasses.

"Anyone with information related to the identities of the individuals described above is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 and provide SU24069604 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477," police said.
