Sudbury police looking for blue Subaru in hit-and-run
Sudbury police are looking for the driver of a blue Subaru sedan that was allegedly driven onto a Third Avenue yard before hitting two parked cars.
The hit-and-run happened in Minnow Lake around 6:12 a.m. Wednesday when a northbound car left the road and travelled across the lawn of a home, Sudbury police in a news release.
Two unoccupied vehicles were struck before the Subaru drove off towards the Kingsway.
"The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles in the driveway," police said.
"The blue Subaru involved in the collision will have extensive damage to the front bumper."
Police released a photo of the car parts left behind at the scene, including a hood ornament.
"Anyone with information related to this collision or the involved vehicle is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477," police said.
