SUDBURY -- Sudbury police say the death of an adult male found at a house in the Flour Mill neighbourhood has been deemed not suspicious.

Police received a call Friday and have had the home on the corner of Bond Street and Laforest Avenue cordoned off over the weekend.

"It is necessary for police to remain at the scene until positive identification is confirmed and next of kin are appropriately notified," said Sarah Kaelas, multi-media marketing specialist at Greater Sudbury Police Service, in an email to CTV News Monday morning.

Very little information has been made available by police and Kaelas said Monday afternoon that the investigation has been handed over to the coroner.

It is not yet known if the person that died was a resident at the home or what the cause was.

More details to come as they become available.
