The patrol car landed upside down in the ditch in front of the playground.

"No member of the public was involved in the collision and no member of the public was injured," Greater Sudbury Police Service said in a news release.

"The involved officer attended Health Sciences North with minor injuries."

The traffic management unit continues to investigate the collision.

Christina Labelle lives down the road from where it happened and told CTV News it was scary because the park is usually packed with kids and people playing basketball or pickleball.
