SUDBURY -- Officials of a two-day music festival in Sudbury are hoping to melt away the winter blues.
Northern Lights Festival Boreal is getting set for the second year of Bloom, amulti-venue music festival this Friday and Saturday.
"We wanted to keep our name out there and do something at the time of year when there’s not a lot of concerts and festivals going on," said Max Merrifield, executive and artistic director of Northern Lights Festival Boreal. "There’s been a great response to the lineup we’ve put out."
Friday’s big concert is at The Grand in downtown Sudbury; meanwhile Saturday’s musical acts will play at different locations around the city.
