The defence was on the offensive again Wednesday at the second-degree murder trial of Robert Steven Wright taking place at the Sudbury courthouse.
SUDBURY -- A murder case dating back almost 22 years continues to wind through the court system.
Renee Sweeney was brutally stabbed to death at the “Adults Only” Video Store in 1998.
After a break in the case last December, police arrested 40-year-old Robert Steven Wright.
Wright was present in the courtroom for a proceeding Wednesday, but a court-imposed publication ban prevents us from reporting on any of those details.
A date for Wright’s trial on a charge of second-degree murder has yet to be set.
