Police arrested and charged a 31-year-old Greater Sudbury man with two counts of voyeurism following an investigation relating to child pornography charges back in June.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service Cybercrime Unit began investigating a local resident in November 2017 for having and making child pornography available.

A search warrant executed on June 28th produced the suspected material and the man was arrested at the scene.

He was charged with possession, access, and making available child pornography.

During the search, a computer was seized and after a lengthy forensic examination of the contents, police were able to identify two known and three unknown adult victims of voyeurism.

The suspect attended bail court on Wednesday to answer to the charges.

A publication ban has been issued on this case, so no further information can be released at this time.
