SUDBURY -- Health officials in Sudbury are warning of a potential ‘high-risk’ exposure to COVID-19 at a farm equipment garage in Massey.

According to Public Health Sudbury & Districts, anyone who attended Foothill Farm Service between Wednesday Nov. 4 and Friday Nov. 6 is advised to immediately self-isolate and contact the health unit.

“Public Health is advising the public of this exposure because we do not have information to contact everyone who may have been exposed,” read a news release sent out Saturday evening. “It is imperative that anyone who attended this business follow public health guidance to prevent further spread of the virus.”

This latest outbreak comes following others in posted by the health unit in recent weeks, including a McDonald’s location as well as Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School.

The health unit will be moving into the yellow level of the provincial COVID-19 response framework.

In a news release Friday, Public Health said our new status includes measures such as limited hours of operations for certain settings, reduced recreational program sizes, additional enforcements and fines, and enhanced education in high-risk settings.
