Cyrus was transferred from another Ontario SPCA site to increase his chances of finding the right home, after being looked over at another shelter.

He loves attention, pets and treats.

Being food-driven is helpful when training as it helps the dog focus, Jennifer Hughes of the Sudbury SPCA told CTV News.

Cyrus needs some work with basic manners and training and would likely do best with someone who understands his strength and demeanor.

Overall, Hughes said he will make a good companion and blossom in a home where he is well-loved.

To find out more about Cyrus and the other animals available for adoption at the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & Districts Animal Centre at College Boreal on Lasalle Boulevard, call 705-566-9582.
