Soo Greyhounds return home to face Saginaw
The Soo Greyhounds are the talk of the town, as their second-round matchup in the OHL playoffs touches down in the Sault.
That means empty seats at GFL Memorial Gardens will be a rarity this week, as the Greyhounds have two straight games against the Saginaw Spirit in the second round of the playoffs.
A first-round sweep meant it has been more than two weeks since the Hounds played in front of their fans.
“We've been watching them on TV when they're out of town and just get so involved,” one person said.
“But being here, watching it live is just so different.”
The Hounds return home after tying the series at one while on the road against the west division leaders.
“The Hound’s games against Saginaw are always great games,” one fan told us.
“And we're hoping for a big win.”
