The cold weather and plenty of snow has allowed the snowmobile season to open.
Officials in Timmins say trails will be open for riders to enjoy beginning December 29th.
According to the Timmins club, a number of the area's 14 trails are available for sledding thanks to recent cold weather, new snow and hundreds of volunteer hours in packing and grooming.
Riders are encouraged to go online to check out trail conditions before heading out.
