SUDBURY -- Heavy rainfall has created a large sinkhole on Highway 655 north of Timmins prompting provincial police to close the road.
The closure affects lanes in both directions between Highway 11 and Kidd Creek Mine.
Police say to expect the closure to last "for an extended period of time."
