In this week's episode of Take Me Home Tuesday, CTV News is featuring Brandy, a sweet, senior dog who "will do anything for a cookie."

Brandy is being rehomed through the Sudbury SPCA after her previous owners went through some lifestyle changes.

She is a full-grown mixed breed that is approximately 11 years old and weighs about 25-30 pounds.

Brandy loves being with people and can be a little anxious when left alone.

For that reason, Jen Hughes of the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & Districts Animal Centre said apartment living may not be the most suitable environment for her new home as Brandy may bark when you are not home.

Brandy takes pain medication for arthritis, which Hughes said is expected at that age, but is otherwise healthy.

While the canine does have some lumps on her body, they have been looked at by a vet and determined to be fatty deposits that are not bothering her.

Brandy is described as "spry for her age," but is still active and enjoys car rides and walks.

Ultimately, she is seeking a home that will provide comfort in her golden years.

For more information about adopting Brandy, the SPCA's foster-to-adopt program or any of the animals at the Sudbury shelter located at the College Boreal campus on Lasalle Boulevard, contact the SPCA at 705-566-9582.
