Sault suspect charged with indecent exposure to children waiting for the school bus

A 44-year-old has been charged in Sault Ste. Marie after police received reports Wednesday of someone committing indecent acts near a school bus stop.

Calls to 911 started around 7:45 a.m. about someone exposing themselves near Shannon Road and Capp Avenue.

"Officers were dispatched to the area where they located and arrested the accused," police said.

"An investigation revealed the accused had exposed their genitals and buttocks to numerous children waiting for their school bus while yelling obscenities."

The accused is charged with indecent acts. They were released on an appearance notice and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.
