SAULT STE. MARIE -- Rick Fall plans to run from Vancouver Island to Sault Ste. Marie this spring to raise money for two separate charities.
With a goal of raising $300,000, Fall will be running a marathon a day for 100 days starting April 13th.
His four month journey will start in Victoria, British Colombia and will wrap up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in August.
He’s running for two charities, Make A Wish Canada and Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation.
"Make-A-Wish was very important to my niece who was the recipient of Make-A-Wish when she was younger and I just thought again with children’s with critical illness, a lot of them do often have cancer." said Fall.
He will be documenting his journey on his website, where you can track his run and see his progress.
