Sault police presence on Peoples Road related to man missing since 2023
Police in Sault Ste. Marie said there will be a significant police presence around Peoples Road on Wednesday.
“This is connected to the investigation into missing ... Jake Corbiere,” police said in a news release.
“Members of the emergency services unit, including the canine unit, detectives with Investigation Services and the Ontario Provincial Police, will be searching the area throughout the day.”
Corbiere, who was 39 when he disappeared, has not been seen or spoken with family or friends since March 12, 2023, the release said.
Garden River First Nation is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to finding the missing man.
