The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service said Friday they have identified a suspect in a case in which a dirt bike hit a pedestrian Aug. 6 on St. Mary’s River Drive.

They are no longer seeking information on the case, police added.

“A pedestrian was struck by a red Honda CRF dirt bike with no licence plate,” police said in a news release Thursday.

“The pedestrian sustained minor physical injuries and was transported to hospital. The driver of the dirt bike did not stop to check on the pedestrian and drove away.”
