Sault police clear scene near Langdon Road
Sault police have cleared the investigation scene in the 200 block of Langdon Road after a heavy police presence was seen in the area most of the day on Wednesday.

In an update shortly after 3:30 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service confirmed they had completed their business in the area.
“Officers have cleared the scene in the 200 block of Langdon Road and the investigation into this call for service has concluded,” said police in the update.
Police have not released any details about the investigation they were conducting or what prompted the call for service.
“Members of the emergency services unit, forensic identification unit, investigation services and patrol services are currently on scene conducting an investigation,” said police in there original news release.

Police had initially asked the public to avoid the area to allow officers to conduct the investigation.
