SUDBURY -- Health Sciences North Foundation has received a $4,762 grant from the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branch and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation to purchase an anesthesia cart for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging suite at HSN.

“We are very appreciative for this donation towards the purchase of the anesthesia cart that will be used in the MRI suite to keep all the essential tools and supplies needed for patient care easily at hand,” Anthony Keating, president and CDO foundations and volunteer groups at HSN, said in a news release Wednesday.

“Their support of essential needs at HSN is making a difference to everyone who relies on accessing quality care.”

“The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branch and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation is pleased to make this donation that supports the hospital,” said Len Leclair, president of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76.

“This is just another way that we are able to support our veterans, and others living in the community and beyond to ensure that they have access to quality health care services.”
