Rescued kitten a hit with Sault police
Last week, police in the Sault rescued a kitten trapped under a vehicle. And CERB, as the kitten has since been named, has been adopted by a member of the police.
"Last week, Const. Mortimore rescued a kitten who was stuck under the hood of a vehicle," police said on social media Tuesday.

"He spent the night in our Central Emergency Response Bureau (CERB) and has since been adopted by Staff Sgt. Sguigna and family, who named him CERB."
Before that, however, CERB posed for a bunch of cute photos with staff of the Sault Police Service.
The incident serves as a reminder to check under your hoods, police said.
"As it gets colder, remember (that) cats may seek warmth and shelter under your hood or atop your tires,” police said.
"Make it a habit to check for any small stowaways before you drive — give the hood a tap or beep the horn to help scare off any furry hitchhikers."
