Provincial police look for help locating off-road vehicle stolen in Hearst

The James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment is seeking the public’s help locating an off-road vehicle (ORV) stolen in Hearst, Ont., earlier this month and those responsible for its theft.

Police responded to a report of the stolen side-by-side ORV from a property on Girard Drive on Sept. 6.

“The 2018 Arctic Cat / Textron Wildcat was taken some time between Sept. 2 and Sept. 6,” said OPP in a news release.

“The side-by-side ORV is grey with green flash bumpers, black cage and a black roof. The vehicle had the Ontario licence plate 6KD81.”

Police have shared details of the theft investigation on social media and provided a photo of the ORV showing its aftermarket accessories.

Anyone with information related to this theft is asked to contact OPP using reference number E241195983 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
