Provincial police asking for help with Cochrane trailer theft
As part of an ongoing investigation, provincial police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an ATV trailer recently stolen in Cochrane, Ont., and those responsible for the theft.
On Aug. 29 members of the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment responded to a report of a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) trailer taken from a rural property on Highway 579.
“The Multilander ATV dump trailer, valued at $3,000, was believed to have been taken between Aug. 19 and Aug. 25,” said police in a news release.
“The trailer has a homemade tailgate being held on with bungee cords.”

The trailer is green and of a dual axel design.
