Power restored to Capreol after morning outage
It's a frosty morning in Greater Sudbury and the residents of Capreol were without power for just under two hours.
"Greater Sudbury Hydro is aware of a power outage affecting all residents in Capreol," Claude Sharma, a spokesperson for the utility company, said in an email just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Right before 8:30 a.m., Sudbury Hydro said the repair crew has identified the cause of the outage and is working to get the power back on as soon as possible.
Power was restored around 9:15 a.m., the hydro company said in an update.
"If you are still without power, please call us at 705-675-7536," Greater Sudbury Hydro said in a social media post.
The temperature in parts of Greater Sudbury at the time of the outage was -6 C, but felt more like -11 C with the windchill.
