Power outages close three schools in Near North District board Monday

SUDBURY -- Near North District School Board said in a news release shortly after 8 a.m., three schools are closed Monday and buses cancelled.

"South Shore has no water and limited power and heat. Restoration time is 4 p.m.," said the school board about the education centre in Nipissing Monday.

Land of Lakes Public School in Burk's Falls has no heat and limited power and a restoration time has not been determined.

MacTier Public School, south of Parry Sound, is also without power and restoration time has not been determined yet.
